Hello darkness my old friend! I think this might be the gloomiest of all Kuupuu albums... I recorded it in the spring of 2004 in two weeks. I can't recall if it's all done with my double deck cassette karaoke stereo system or whether I had a four-tracker borrowed at times... The weird stereo image suggests the first option.

Listening to it now I didn't even remember I used to play a trumpet! I bought it from St. Petersburg when we played three gigs there in 2003 with Kukkiva Poliisi. We stayed in a squat until the militia came and arrested us, they took us to an office and started to question us. I guess they wanted money but when they realized we didn't have any they let us go and we also got our passports back which was nice.
